Enterprise Reference
UNRELEASED PROJECT
Enterprise Reference is an unreleased Dramacydal project believed to have been assembled during the transitional period following the release of Thug Life: Volume 1. Although never commercially issued, the surviving promotional cassette provides a fascinating insight into the direction the group intended to take before the project was substantially reworked into what later became known as Dramacyde.
One of the most significant aspects of the project is its production. Unlike the later Dramacyde sequence, which features productions by Moe ZMD, Mike Mosley and Soulshock &a Karlin, Enterprise Reference is built primarily around productions by Stretch.
Comparison of the surviving track listings indicates that several songs were either replaced, remixed or newly recorded during the transition from Enterprise Reference to Dramacyde. As a result, the cassette offers an invaluable snapshot of Dramacydal's original artistic direction and provides one of the clearest surviving links between the original Thug Life era and the group's later recordings.

Project History
Following the release of Thug Life: Volume 1, Dramacydal continued working together while developing material for a standalone project. During this period Stretch remained closely involved with the group, contributing production to the majority of the known recordings.
The surviving Enterprise Reference cassette demonstrates that the project had progressed well beyond the demo stage. Several tracks later appeared on the revised Dramacyde sequence, although many of the original Stretch productions were replaced with newly recorded versions by other producers following his death.
The surviving Enterprise Reference cassette represents one of the most significant discoveries relating to Dramacydal's post-Thug Life: Volume 1 career. While the project was never commercially released, it demonstrates that the group had already assembled a cohesive body of work before later revisions transformed the material into what became known as Dramacyde.
Perhaps the most important aspect of the cassette is the overwhelming presence of Stretch as producer. Unlike the later promotional sequence, where many of his productions appear to have been replaced by recordings from Moe ZMD, Mike Mosley and Soulshock & Karlin, Enterprise Reference preserves what appears to be the group's original musical direction. As a result, the cassette provides an invaluable record of Stretch's final production work with Dramacydal and offers an important insight into the group's creative evolution during the mid-1990s.
