Overview

Fuck It is one of the original recordings created during Live Squad's sessions for the cancelled Game Of Survival album. Although recorded while the group were signed to Tommy Boy Records in the early 1990s, the song remained unreleased until Grand Imperial Records reconstructed and released the album in 2001.

The track reflects Live Squad's uncompromising attitude and aggressive lyrical style that became a defining feature of the group's early catalogue. Stretch and Majesty deliver confident performances over a hard-hitting production, capturing the raw energy that distinguished Live Squad from many of their contemporaries.

Although its first official release came almost a decade after it was recorded, Fuck It remains an authentic Tommy Boy-era recording and forms an important part of Live Squad's original body of work.

Recording History

Fuck It was recorded during Live Squad's original Game Of Survival sessions between 1990 and 1991. The song was intended for the group's debut album before Tommy Boy Records cancelled the project prior to its commercial release.

Following Stretch's death in 1995, Majesty retained the surviving recordings and later reconstructed the album for release through Grand Imperial Records. As a result, Fuck It finally received its first official commercial release in 2001 while preserving the original performances recorded almost a decade earlier.

The recording represents the group's early production style before the darker sound heard on later Live Squad recordings and their collaborations with 2Pac during the mid-1990s.
