Overview

Cheese is an unreleased solo recording by Stretch, believed to have been recorded during 1994. Although very little information has survived about the song, it is generally associated with the same creative period that produced much of Live Squad's later unreleased material.

Unlike Stretch's better-known collaborations with 2Pac and Majesty, Cheese appears to have been recorded as a solo performance, offering a rare example of Stretch recording under his own name rather than as part of Live Squad or Thug Life.

The recording has never received an official commercial release and remains known primarily through collector circles. As with several other unreleased Stretch recordings from this period, documentation is extremely limited.

Recording History

The exact recording date has never been officially confirmed, although the song is generally believed to have originated during 1994. Collector research places it among the body of unreleased material recorded by Stretch during the same period as the abandoned Diary Of A Poor Man sessions, although no official documentation has been published.

Unlike many other recordings from this era, no verified production credits, studio details or alternate versions have surfaced. The song has remained unreleased since its recording and has never appeared on any official Live Squad or Tupac release.

Despite the lack of documentation, Cheese represents another example of the large body of unreleased material Stretch created during what is widely considered the most productive period of his career.
