Heat In My Hand is a Live Squad recording originally created during the sessions for the group's planned second album, Diary Of A Poor Man. Although the song remained unreleased for nearly three decades, it finally received its first official commercial release on the 2023 album The Recruiters, issued by Grand Imperial Music.

The recording represents another important chapter in Live Squad's mid-1990s catalogue, documenting the creative partnership between Stretch and Majesty during the years immediately following the group's Tommy Boy recordings.

For many years the song was known only through surviving track listings for Diary Of A Poor Man. Its eventual release finally allowed fans to hear one of the project's long-lost recordings.

Recording History

Heat In My Hand was recorded during the 1994 Diary Of A Poor Man sessions, one of the most productive periods in Live Squad's history. The album was ultimately shelved, leaving the recording unreleased for almost thirty years.

In 2023, Grand Imperial Music officially released the song on The Recruiters, making it one of the few recordings from the Diary Of A Poor Man era to receive an official commercial release.
