Overview
Flex was recorded during the sessions for Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... and was first officially released in 1993 as the B-side to the Holler If Ya Hear Me single. Although it did not appear on the original album, it has long been regarded by fans as part of the Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... era.
The track features 2Pac alongside Stretch and showcases the close creative relationship between the two artists during the early 1990s. Stretch's production complements Tupac's energetic performance, resulting in one of the strongest non-album recordings from this period.
Thirty years later, Flex was finally added to the official Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... (Expanded Edition), introducing the recording to a much wider audience while preserving its connection to the album sessions.
