Trapped Promo (PR 3998) is a promotional 12-inch vinyl issued by Interscope Records to support the release of 2Pac's debut single Trapped. Distributed to radio stations, DJs and music industry contacts, it introduced listeners to one of the standout tracks from 2Pacalypse Now prior to the album's commercial success.
For the Live Squad archive, this release is significant because it also includes Tha' Lunatic, one of Stretch's earliest officially released collaborations with 2Pac. Recorded before the better-known Live Squad productions of the following years, the track documents the beginning of the creative relationship between Stretch and Tupac Shakur.
