Overview

Wrong Nigga (Remix) is a later version of Live Squad's unreleased 1994 recording Wrong Nigga. Believed to have been created during the early Grand Imperial Records era, the remix revisits the original Diary Of A Poor Man recording with updated production and a newly recorded closing tribute by Majesty.

Unlike the original version, this recording features an outro in which Majesty pays tribute to both Stretch and E-Moneybags. As E-Moneybags passed away in July 2001, the remix must have been completed after that date, placing it several years after the original recording sessions.

Although never officially released, the remix has circulated among collectors and is generally associated with the Ghetto Blues Sessions, a collection of later mixes, alternate versions and previously unreleased Live Squad recordings assembled following Stretch's death.

Recording History

The original version of Wrong Nigga was recorded in 1994 for Live Squad's planned second album, Diary Of A Poor Man. Following the deaths of Stretch in 1995 and E-Moneybags in 2001, Majesty revisited portions of the Live Squad archive, creating updated versions of several recordings.

Although the exact production details remain unknown, this remix appears to feature newly recorded material in addition to the original vocals. The closing tribute to Stretch and E-Moneybags confirms that the recording was completed after July 2001 and distinguishes it from the original album version.

The remix has never received an official commercial release and survives through collector circles. It remains one of the few known examples of Majesty revisiting Live Squad's unreleased catalogue during the Grand Imperial era.
